3.2 Configuring the ADAM-4579

The ADAM-4579 provides easy Windows configuration through

Ethernet connection. You can configure various parameters for TCP/IP

configuration easily. For secure administration, it can also restrict the

access rights for configuration to only one host PC to enhance

network security. With this secure function enabled, other PCs will not

have permission for configuration. The Windows utility consists of

four functional categories: System, Network, Port, and Settings which

are presented on the toolbar of the configuration utility.

Note: When you have finished the configuration of these settings

for each category, please follow the steps described below to make

thse settings effective on the ADAM-4579.
