Compare and Toggle Trigger

Position / Velocity Override

Under certain conditions, users can use commands to set up and

change the position of a terminal point and movement speed to fulﬁll

certain purposes. The terminal points and movement speed can still

be changed on the ﬂy.

Trigger Function

 Single compare & trigger: trigger on a single position.

 Table compare & trigger: multi position triggers during ﬁxed intervals or variable intervals can be achieved via commands.

 Linear compare & trigger: triggers on any position within 2D or 3D space can be achieved via commands.

 Compare and toggle trigger: as shown in the bottom right ﬁgure, we can set to invert DO after triggers of a certain position – ex. high voltage level at the

ﬁrst point after triggers for DO, low voltage level at the second point after triggers for DO, and high voltage level again at the third position and ends with a

low voltage level at the fourth point.

E-Gear

Multi-axial and absolutely synchronized controls can be achieved

through SoftMotion algorithms and parameter conﬁgurations. With

E-Gear, users can enforce conﬁgurations and controls over master

and slave gears through their relationship. This not only simpliﬁes

the mechanism designs, but also saves mechanism space and

enforces absolute and synchronized controls.

Simultaneously Start/Stop

Simultaneously start/stop can be achieved by issuing commands

to conﬁgure settings to trigger multiple axes and multiple cards

from external signal sources. Software control via commands is

also supported.
